Israeli Settler Violence Escalates in Palestinian Villages

Five suspects, including two off-duty soldiers, were brought to court after being arrested for a violent attack by settlers on a Palestinian village in the West Bank. The attack occurred on the fifth day of vigilante attacks targeting Palestinian civilians after a Palestinian terror shooting in which four Israelis were killed. The suspects are being questioned by the Shin Bet security agency, and their remand was extended on Sunday. The IDF has admitted to having "failed" in stopping other settler riots in recent days.
