Kenyan Pastor Arrested for Mass Killing of Followers in Cult

Another pastor has been arrested in Kenya and his church closed as the number of deaths linked to a cult in the area rose to 103. Pastor Ezekiel Odero is being processed to face criminal charges related to the mass killing of his followers. His megachurch, the New Life Prayer Centre Church, is in Malindi County, where another pastor, Paul Mackenzie, is being investigated for allegedly directing his followers to fast until death. Police have been exhuming bodies at a ranch owned by Mackenzie, where he moved in 2019 after closing his church in Malindi.
