Massive Liquid Meth Seizure Disguised as Tequila Bottles in Mexico

Mexican navy inspectors have seized 11,520 tequila bottles containing nearly 10 tons of concentrated liquid meth at the Pacific coast seaport of Manzanillo. Mexico is the world's only producer of authentic tequila, and while there have been no reported instances of such bottles reaching consumers, ingesting the mixture would be immensely dangerous. Drug smugglers frequently transport liquid meth in their cars, which is then taken to specialized facilities where the water is extracted and the drug is returned to its crystal form.
