"Photographers Targeted: Attempted Murder in Southern Mexico"

Four news photographers were shot and wounded by unidentified assailants in the violence-ridden city of Chilpancingo, Mexico. The photographers, who worked for local papers or news sites, were attacked near an army barracks while returning from covering an event. Prosecutors are treating the incident as attempted murder.
