Russian Couple Arrested for Spying on Defense Company

A married couple has been detained by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) on suspicion of sharing details of a defense enterprise with Ukraine. The FSB claimed that the woman had admitted to selling blueprints of an unidentified Nizhny Tagil defense enterprise to Ukraine’s intelligence agencies for $1,200. The couple has been placed in pre-trial detention on charges of treason, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison under Russian law.
