"Widow of 'Ogre of Ardennes' denies procuring virgins for him in rape trial"

Monique Olivier, the widow of French serial killer Michel Fourniret, denied allegations that she procured virgins for him to rape as she went on trial for aiding and abetting his crimes. Fourniret, known as the "Ogre of Ardennes," was accused of murdering eight girls and young women between 1987 and 2001. Olivier, who is already serving a life sentence for complicity in four of the killings, is now on trial for being an accomplice in three additional murders, including that of British student Joanna Parrish. She denied having a criminal pact with Fourniret but admitted to carrying out his orders. The trial continues.
