Farouk Abdulhak, the son of a Yemeni billionaire, reportedly admitted to his involvement in the 2008 murder and rape of Norwegian student Martine Vik Magnussen in London. Abdulhak claimed that Magnussen died as a result of a "sex accident gone wrong." However, a coroner's report detailed how violently Magnussen died, and Abdulhak remains wanted for murder by London's Metropolitan Police Service. The United Kingdom holds no extradition treaty with Yemen, but Magnussen's family is hopeful that he will be extradited.
