Muslims worldwide adapt Eid al-Fitr celebrations to accommodate diverse communities.

Utah Muslims celebrated Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, on Saturday instead of Thursday to allow more working-class members of the community to participate. Although not a state holiday, the celebration was organized by the Somali Community Self-Management Agency in partnership with the University of Utah's Neighborhood Partners department. The event aimed to bring the community together and expand in the future, offering more opportunities for people to celebrate their religion and culture.
