Quebec Teacher Under Fire for Selling Students' Art Online

A teacher near Montreal is being investigated for allegedly selling his students' artwork on his personal website without permission. The students discovered their art being sold on T-shirts, coffee mugs, and iPhone cases. More than 90 portraits by students are still available on the website, priced at $118 each. Parents and the school board are taking the allegations seriously, and an intellectual property lawyer notes that the teacher would require permission from students to copy or sell their work.
