Teachers to Strike Again After Rejecting Pay Offer

Teachers in England will go on strike on 27 April and 2 May after rejecting a pay offer from the government. The National Education Union (NEU) said the offer was "insulting" and "not fully funded". The NEU ballot found that 98% of members were in favour of turning the deal down. The education secretary said it was "extremely disappointing". The NEU is also planning three more potential strike days at the end of June and the beginning of July.
