Belgium foils suspected terror attack with 8 arrests in nationwide raids.

Belgian police have arrested eight young people suspected of belonging to a jihadist movement and planning to commit a terrorist attack in the country. The arrests were made during house raids in Brussels, Antwerp, and Eupen. The suspects have been detained but not yet charged. The investigations were led by federal police in Brussels and an investigating magistrate in Antwerp, and there are links between the two cases. The eventual target or targets of the planned attack have not yet been determined.
