Global 'Day of Jihad' Sparks Protests and Security Concerns Worldwide

Tens of thousands of anti-Israel demonstrators took to the streets in over a dozen countries, clashing with police and burning US and Israeli flags in protest against the ongoing military offensive in Gaza. The protests, part of a "day of jihad" called for by former Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, spread beyond the Middle East, with violent demonstrations occurring in countries such as Australia, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Yemen.
