Ukrainian Civilians' Defiance in Kherson: Resisting Russian Invasion

Ukrainian civilians in the city of Kherson have joined the resistance and pledged to defend their country against Russian aggression. These civilians, including a wedding planner, business owners, and retirees, have formed an underground force to harass the Russian invaders. They have engaged in hit-and-run raids and even attacked a Russian boat, killing several soldiers. Despite facing torture and betrayal, these brave individuals have refused to give up the names of their fellow resistance members. The Russian occupation of Kherson lasted for about eight months before the Russians were forced to retreat. However, Russia still occupies nearly 20% of Ukraine, and the resistance continues. The civilians express gratitude to the US and Great Britain for their support.
