"Escalating Houthi Attacks in Red Sea Prompt US and Denmark Response"
TL;DR
Houthi forces in Yemen claim to have launched a large-scale drone attack on US navy warships and a commercial ship in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, with the US Central Command attributing the attack to Iranian-backed Houthi forces and stating that 15 drones were shot down. The Danish frigate Iver Huitfeldt also repelled four Houthi drones. The attacks, claimed to be in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, have raised concerns about the safety of international waters and led to civilian casualties earlier in the week.
