Russia bombed the Ukrainian city of Ternopil, the hometown of the singing act Tvorchi, just moments before they performed at Eurovision. Two people were injured in the attack. The British ambassador to Ukraine condemned the attack on Twitter, reminding people that Ukraine could not host the event due to Russia's invasion. Despite the attack, Tvorchi delivered a poignant performance, and their graphics and staging were praised by the ambassador.
