Israeli forces are accused of standing by as a group of Israeli settlers killed several Palestinians, including a 17-year-old boy, in the West Bank. The attack occurred while the Palestinians were trying to protect a local man’s home from an armed mob of settlers, and the Israel Defense Forces took no action to stop it, despite being obligated by law to protect all residents of the West Bank. At least 314 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since Oct. 7, according to the United Nations.
