Aid flows to Nagorno-Karabakh as separatists and Azerbaijan find common ground

Aid supplies have resumed in Nagorno-Karabakh after an agreement was reached between Armenian separatists and the Baku government, easing tensions in the region. The closure of the Lachin corridor, the only land link between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, had caused shortages of food and medicine. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has now been able to bring shipments of wheat flour and essential medical items to those in need. The European Union and United States have called for the reopening of the Lachin and Aghdam routes for humanitarian aid.
