Denmark Boosts Ukraine's Defense with 45 Additional Tanks in Partnership Effort

Denmark will donate an additional 45 tanks to Ukraine, including 15 T-72EA tanks and 30 Leopard 1 tanks, as part of their $830 million assistance package. The tanks were purchased in cooperation with other countries, although the specific partners were not named. The T-72EA tanks can be immediately deployed by Ukrainian troops without additional training. This follows a previous agreement between Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands to transfer at least 100 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, with the first batch already delivered. Denmark and the Netherlands have also agreed to purchase and donate 14 Leopard 2 tanks from Germany.
