EU and Ukraine to mutually recognize and enforce court decisions, White House accuses Brazilian leader of echoing Russian and Chinese propaganda.

The European Union and Ukraine have agreed to recognize and enforce each other's court decisions within the framework of the Hague Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters. The treaty relations between the EU and Ukraine will be established on 1 September 2023 unless either of them objects to them. The decision will facilitate the recognition and enforcement of the EU's and Ukrainian judgments in civil and commercial matters, making it an important instrument to facilitate international trade.
