Lula: Putin's Arrest Unlikely at Brazil G20

Lula, who plans to attend a BRICS meeting in Russia before the G20, believes that Putin can visit Brazil without facing arrest. This statement comes after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Putin for war crimes in Ukraine. The G20 nations adopted a consensus declaration that avoided condemning Russia for the war in Ukraine but called on all states to uphold international law and support a comprehensive peace in Ukraine.
