Evacuations of US and French citizens from Sudan amidst conflict.

Germany has launched an evacuation operation in Khartoum, joining other countries such as the US, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, who have already started evacuating embassy staff and their families. The US has evacuated fewer than 100 people, while Egypt has begun evacuating its estimated 10,000 nationals from "safe areas in Sudan." The fighting in Sudan has already cost the lives of hundreds of innocent civilians, and at least 413 people have been killed and more than 3,500 have been injured since the fighting began.
