International Efforts to Evacuate Citizens from Sudan Amid Ongoing Conflict

Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, and the US have evacuated their citizens and diplomats from Sudan amid fierce fighting in the capital, Khartoum. The first German plane carrying 101 people has reached Berlin, while France has airlifted around 200 people to Djibouti, and Italy has extracted about 300 people. The US has airlifted around 100 people, and Ireland is dispatching an emergency team to assist with collecting its citizens and their dependants. China has also begun transferring its citizens from Sudan, and Egypt has brought home 436 nationals by land.
