Israel and Islamic Jihad Terrorists Ceasefire Ends Battle.

Israel and the Islamic Jihad terrorist group signed a ceasefire after five days of battle during which 1,000 rockets from Gaza entered Israel and five senior terrorists were killed. Restrictions in the Gaza Envelope settlements have been lifted, and road blockades in the area surrounding Gaza have been opened. The Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings will be partially and gradually opened, and the maritime territory will open to Gazan fishing. The ceasefire came after Israel responded harshly to the rocket fire, and the Israeli military believes Jihad gave up all its conditions for a ceasefire due to its depleted resources.
