Guam Braces for Tropical Storm Mawar.

Typhoon Mawar, previously a tropical storm, is expected to hit Guam and the Mariana Islands on Wednesday morning, bringing high winds and possible flooding. The storm is strengthening as it approaches, with sustained winds of 80 miles per hour. The eye of the storm has not yet developed, but it could pass through the 20-mile gap between the islands of Guam and Rota. The Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory, and all military installations on Guam are currently securing facilities.
