US President Joe Biden abruptly ended a White House press conference to attend to an undisclosed issue in the situation room. He stated that any discussion on a Gaza ceasefire would only happen after Hamas releases all hostages. Biden also mentioned his conversation with Pope Francis regarding the Israel-Hamas war and expressed support for Israel. Two Israeli women were recently freed by Hamas, bringing the total number of confirmed hostages to 222.
