Kadyrov, nicknamed "Putin's soldier" and "Putin's attack dog," has deployed troops to aid Russia in its war in Ukraine. Rumors about his health have circulated for months, with previous reports suggesting a serious kidney disease. Kadyrov recently went into a coma and was flown to Moscow for treatment before being returned to Chechnya.
