China, France, and EU leaders discuss Ukraine and military cooperation.

China and France have pledged to deepen military cooperation, with the Southern Theater of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army set to "deepen the dialogue" with Asia-Pacific command of the French forces. The two countries also called for peace in Ukraine, urging all parties to the conflict to observe international humanitarian law. They also called on Russia to ensure the safety of Ukraine’s nuclear facilities.
