Egypt alarmed by capture of soldiers in Sudan.

The capture of Egyptian soldiers by Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has caused concern in Cairo, with fears that Sudan may slip into civil war and lasting instability. The RSF claim the soldiers were there to support their Sudanese rivals, while some in Egypt see it as another defeat for President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's government. While the fate of the soldiers is uncertain, Egypt is calling for restraint and a stable Sudan with whom it can coordinate on the Grand Renaissance Dam crisis with Ethiopia.
