Georgia Protests Alleged Moscow Control of Government.

Thousands of opposition supporters gathered outside the Georgian parliament in Tbilisi to demand the release of political prisoners and implementation of EU reforms. The government has been accused of imprisoning opponents, silencing independent media, and collaborating secretly with the Kremlin. Protesters claim that the government is controlled by Moscow and are calling for Georgia to join the European Union. The US has banned four Georgian judges for abusing their positions to serve the interests of an oligarch. Georgia applied for EU membership and was asked to implement reforms first.
