Interpol issues red notice for Lebanon's central bank governor.

Lebanon has received an Interpol red notice for its central bank governor, Riad Salameh, after France issued its own arrest warrant for him as part of an investigation into whether he embezzled public funds. Salameh denies the accusation. Lebanon's caretaker interior minister said he would implement the notice if instructed to do so by the judiciary and believes it is "necessary" for Salameh to resign. This marks the first known warrant issued in connection with any of the five foreign investigations being carried out into the governor.
