Leaders' Illness and Withdrawals Disrupt Granada Summit and Nagorno-Karabakh Talks

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has canceled his trip to Spain for the European Political Community (EPC) meeting due to falling ill with a cold. This is the second time this year that Erdoğan has had to cancel political events due to sickness. The EPC summit aims to foster political dialogue and cooperation among EU member countries and other nations. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also refused to attend a side meeting to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis without Ankara's participation, while Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will still attend the meeting.
