NATO-Turkey talks fail to secure Sweden's membership.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg made no progress in talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about Sweden's membership in the military organization. Turkey and Hungary have yet to endorse the move, with Turkey accusing Sweden of being too lenient on terror organizations and security threats. Stoltenberg and Erdogan agreed that officials from the two countries will meet in just over a week to try to bridge their differences. Meanwhile, hundreds of people, including dozens of pro-Kurdish protesters, gathered in Stockholm to demonstrate against Sweden's planned NATO membership.
