Navalny's Unusual Demands from Penal Colony Wardens

Imprisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been amusing himself by making outlandish demands to his penal colony wardens, including asking for a kangaroo, nunchucks, a bottle of moonshine, and a megaphone. All of his requests have been denied so far. Navalny, a fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been imprisoned in Russia since early 2021 on fraud charges, which rights groups have argued are politically motivated.
