President Signs New Laws to Benefit Common Man and Transform Delhi into a World-Class Capital

President Droupadi Murmu has signed four bills into law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, which aims to protect citizens' privacy and imposes penalties for data misuse; the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, which gives the central government control over the Delhi government's bureaucracy; the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill, which allows the use of birth certificates for various purposes; and the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, which decriminalizes minor offenses and promotes ease of business.
