The Kremlin has accused policemen of working for "organized criminal groups" and leaking information to Ukraine. The crackdown comes after the targeting of prominent pro-war Russians Vladlen Tatarsky and Aleksandr Dugin. The black market in stolen data, known as probiv, has been used by journalists, jealous spouses, lawyers, and criminals to track people and uncover their secrets. The FSB has started rounding up policemen in Moscow, and some senior policemen have quit as a result of the raids.
