"Sinn Féin's Michelle O'Neill Makes History as First Nationalist Leader of Northern Ireland"
TL;DR
Sinn Fein Vice President Michelle O'Neill made history by becoming the first Irish nationalist leader of Northern Ireland, sharing power with deputy first minister Emma Little-Pengelly from the DUP. The return to government came after a two-year boycott by unionists over trade issues related to Brexit, and the U.K. government agreed to new changes to ease customs checks and provide funding for Northern Ireland's public services.
