"Trump and Putin's Preferences: Impact on 2024 Election"
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump expressed gratitude for Russian President Vladimir Putin's preference for President Joe Biden to win the 2024 election, calling it a "compliment." Trump also highlighted his efforts to halt the Nord Stream 2 pipeline during his term and criticized Biden's administration for waiving sanctions on the project. Experts suggest that Putin may prefer Trump to win a second term in hopes of brokering a more favorable peace deal in Ukraine, while Trump has faced criticism for his comments regarding NATO and Russia.
