Trump to Attend Notre Dame Reopening in Paris
TL;DR
President-elect Donald Trump announced plans to visit Paris for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, marking his first international trip since his election win. The cathedral, damaged by fire in 2019, has been restored and will welcome visitors on December 7. French President Emmanuel Macron will attend the event, and Trump has nominated Charles Kushner as ambassador to France. Trump's comments on Ukraine aid have raised concerns among European allies.
