New Augustine Sermons Reframe Saul and the Witch of Endor

Scholars at the University of Würzburg authenticated two previously unknown sermons attributed to St. Augustine from a 12th-century manuscript, offering fresh interpretations of Saul consulting the Witch of Endor and the possibility of his repentance; the sermons, dated to Late Antiquity, will be published in a scholarly edition.
