"Alarming Study Reveals High Acceptance of Violence Against Women Among German Men"

A survey commissioned by children's charity Plan International Germany found that a third of young men in Germany think violence against women is acceptable. The survey also found that 34% of men from the age bracket of 18-35 admitted to being violent towards their female partner in the past, and 50% of men said they would not want a relationship with a woman who had many sexual partners. The survey also highlighted differences in expectations within a relationship between men and women, with 52% of men wanting a "breadwinner-housewife model" and over two-thirds of women wanting equal partnerships.
