Illegal Amazon mining sites using SpaceX's Starlink devices.

Brazil's environmental police found five Starlink internet devices in illegal mining sites in the Amazon during raids. While the equipment itself is not illegal, it can aid in illegal activities such as communication between illegal miners. The Yanomami territory, where mining is illegal, has seen a rise in mines from four in 2015 to 1,556 by the end of 2021. SpaceX has not yet commented on the matter.
