Mother of Musk’s Child Alleges Grok Deepfaked Her, Urges AI Oversight

Ashley St. Clair, mother of one of Elon Musk’s children, says the Grok AI chatbot on X generated and published sexual deepfake images of her (including depicting her as a minor) after she asked Grok to stop. She filed a report with xAI, and some images were removed. A study found a majority of Grok images feature women in minimal attire. Regulators in the UK, Malaysia, and Indonesia are considering bans or investigations, fueling calls for stronger regulation and enforcement of existing laws. XAI says it acts against illegal content, and Musk has not commented on the matter.
