Teen Bikes 20,000 Miles Across Americas Despite Robbery and Hospitalization

Liam Garner, a 17-year-old from Los Angeles, cycled 20,000 miles from Alaska to Argentina over 17 months, through 14 countries, and despite being robbed in Mexico and spending a month in hospital in Colombia. Garner, who wants people to know they are capable of incredible things, earned around $8,000 from Tiktok and Patreon to keep going, while traveling on a shoestring budget. He plans to write a book about his travels and is already thinking about his next cycling adventure from Europe to Asia.
