Briton Charged Under National Security Act for Alleged Ties to Russian Military Intelligence

A 31-year-old Swindon man, Joshua Cammidge, has been charged under the National Security Act with assisting a foreign intelligence service—allegedly taking instructions from a person linked to Russia's GRU Volunteer Corps. He was arrested by Counter Terrorism Policing and Wiltshire Police, detained under the NSA, and will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court as prosecutors say there is enough evidence to proceed and authorities caution against reporting that could prejudice proceedings.
