Deadly 10 days for over 200 migrants off Tunisia

More than 200 migrants have died in the last 10 days off the coast of Tunisia as they try to reach Europe from Africa. The country has become the main embarkation point for migrants, overtaking neighbouring Libya. Tunisian morgues are running out of space and authorities are struggling to contain the surge in attempted crossings. The UN's migration agency said that nearly 300 people had died over the past week-and-a-half, including those departing from the Libyan coast.
