Haiti Masses Mourn Four Victims as Brutal Gang Attack Claims 47 Lives

Hundreds gathered in Port-au-Prince to mourn four of the 47 people killed when a heavily armed gang attacked a church and surrounding areas on Aug. 23. The UN says about 150 gang members were involved, with many victims executed after being forced from the church and dozens injured. The violence has displaced about 1.5 million Haitians and left more than 2,600 homeless, as UN tallies show 3,050 killed from January to June.
