Hiker Found Alive After 50 Days in Canadian Wilderness

A hiker named Sam Benastick, who went missing in mid-October in the frigid wilderness of British Columbia, Canada, was found alive after 50 days. Initially reported missing on October 19, Benastick survived by camping in various locations and was discovered by two men on the Redfern Lake trail. He suffered from frostbite and smoke inhalation but was otherwise safe.
