Identical twin sisters both victims of Nazi experiments.

Annetta Able and her identical twin sister, Stephanie Heller, were subjected to Nazi experiments at Auschwitz by Dr. Josef Mengele, who planned to have them impregnated by identical twin brothers. Able's story is featured in a new book documenting Mengele's experiments using identical and fraternal twins as human guinea pigs. The twins were taken from their home in Prague in 1942 and were transferred to Auschwitz a year later. They were treated as human guinea pigs and were subjected to blood transfusions from identical twin men around their age.
