Journalists in Lebanon Strike Targeted, Says Press Group

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has stated that a Reuters journalist killed in strikes near the Israel-Lebanon border, along with six other media workers injured in the attacks, were deliberately targeted. RSF's investigation, based on video footage and ballistic analysis, suggests that the journalists were not mistaken for combatants as they were clearly marked as press and were in the open for over an hour. While RSF did not directly attribute responsibility, the Al Jazeera Media Network has accused Israel's military of deliberately targeting the journalists. Israel's military has not acknowledged responsibility but expressed regret for the journalist's death and stated they were looking into it.
