CCTV captures lead-up to arrest in Edinburgh anti-Muslim attacks
TL;DR
BBC Scotland released CCTV footage showing a topless man driving erratically, then attacking a Black man and a delivery rider with two large knives in a series of anti-Muslim attacks across Edinburgh. Five people were injured, two had attended prayers at Broomhouse Mosque earlier that evening, and counter-terrorism police joined the inquiry. The suspect was detained about five minutes after arriving on Leith Walk; authorities condemned the hate and urged unity in Scotland.
